AutoCoach's smart stop watch, WATCH MODE
All sports are about games of space, time and relationships.. Time is one of the four biggest concepts of sport. Time matters. In swimming and racing, time matters greatly.
At the Olympic Games, the finalists race for podium positions. That's when the-best-of-the best step upon the starting blocks and race to determine who gets what color of medal -- or else – no medal at all. Getting fourth place in the Olympic Finals is sometimes known as its heartless name, “first loser.”

Using the pace mode makes sprint sets simple
The pace mode allows the coach the time to actually observe and provide feedback on the swimmers technique and skills.

Draft Article - Needs work - RAW
In a swim race, the official meet starter clicks a button that begins the race for the athletes. That button push initiates a few different things at the same instance: the audible BEEP sound, the white strobe flash, the electronic timing system begins its time, the athletes start their race and everyone else in the venue with a stop watch, including coaches, start their watches. But there is a bit of a delay between the starting of the watches of coaches and spectators and the start of the official timing system watch due to a chain of events that take time to complete.
Also need to talk about Stroke Rate 1 vs. Stroke Rate 2 vs. Stroke Rate 3.
I always like to use Stroke Rate 1.
