Keep times for the various distances, with and without a board.

If you want something to improve, measure it.

My favorite is the 10 minute kick.

4 minutes all out,

1 minute rest,

3 minutes all out,

1 minute rest,

2 minutes all out,

1 minute rest l, and then

1 minute all out.

Record the distance covered.
